Sang Pelipur Charity Concert Makes Children to Express Themselves

The Student Creativity Program (PKM) of the Faculty of Human Ecology, Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) for Community Service held the Sang Pelipur Charity Concert at the Utakara Beriman Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), Utan Kayu Utara, East Jakarta.

Sang Pelipur Charity Concert Public Relation, Lulu Hiswari expressed the concert was aimed to provide a place for children who lack space for expression to show their talents.
"When we talk about brawls and violence, they (children) answer it is due to the lack of space for expression at school and at home," she expressed, Sunday (10/1).
Children Enthusiasticly Participate in Jakarta Library Visiting DayShe explained this force, which targets elementary and middle school level children, was made interesting by including music as a medium. It was held to make them fun and also express their feelings through music.
Hopefully, it could create local heroes to continue programs that were already running well.
"We hope
what we do can be useful for many people," she hoped.The concert received appreciation from Jakarta DPRD Commission E Member, Idris Ahmad. He assessed, it was extraordinary because it could empower children through positive activities such as art performances.
"Hopefully, the related agencies can replicate it and make it a program to solve social problems among groups of children," she hoped.
